Keen photographers are always looking for inspiration. It’s an exhilarating experience to head out to new locations and capture some wonderful shots in stunning settings. Actively searching for new photography locations can help you to improve your skills and keep you interested. Here are some ideas for new photo shoot locations:

• The zoo. Where else are you ever going to get the chance to photograph so many amazing species in one place? You will be able to practise motion shots, as well as close ups and detailed shots where possible.
• A manor house. A traditional English manor house or stately home will offer opportunities in abundance for budding photographers. As well as the architecture of the house itself, there are gardens, outbuildings and spectacularly furnished interiors to capture your imagination.
• London. With so many different views and sights, you will be spoilt for choice. Photograph the main tourist hotspots along the banks of the Thames, visit a bustling market or spend an afternoon in one of the many parks.
• A race track. Play around with various camera effects as cars zoom past you at incredibly high speeds. This will be a good learning curve for an amateur photographer.
• A forest. There will be plenty of different light and shade effects created by trees and other objects to play around with.
