Photography is important at the Christmas party, capturing all of the happenings on camera so you can remember it for years to come (even if you don’t remember it at the time!) The photographer, therefore, has a very important role and if it is you taking the photos, you will have a lot to live up to. Here are some tips on photographing the Christmas party:

• Take photos of everyone. Make sure nobody in the company is left out
• Take photos of the room first. See if you can get it on camera whilst it still looks pristine and untouched.
• Make sure you capture the overall scene. People won’t just want close-ups of themselves. They will want to see the whole party.
• Take multiple photos of each person. Lots of people don’t like having their photograph taken and will not like the end result. Take a few for them to choose from.
