When I was at University there was a trend when it came to taking photographs; the feet. You would stand in a circle, feet pointing inwards, and someone would take a photograph. It sounds absolutely insane now, but that was the fashion. Then it became selfies; taking a photo of yourself in the mirror or turning the camera around and taking photos of your own face,it was all the rage. As smartphones now come with forward facing cameras it’s easier than ever to jump on the bandwagon.

However, there’s now another invention to make selfies even more ridiculous and wide ranging. The selfie stick. Pop your camera phone into the holder, hold it up with the stick and press the button to take a selfie of you and your friends from slightly longer distance so people can’t see all your close up blemishes. The sooner this fad dies the better for us all!
